About

unnamed

Since childhood, I have always had a passion for design — a love for all beautiful things. At the age of 14 I started my first job in a local jewelry store in North Texas polishing silver (prestigious, I know). I later worked in other jewelry stores doing administrative work and arranging displays. Though the work I did at these stores was far from being a designer, it opened my eyes to a world that allows for individual style, unique expression, and incredible materials that would later become my lifelong career.

In 1984, with two very small daughters to care for, I took the leap of faith to begin a career as a diamond dealer and independent designer. I wanted my daughters to see the value of hard work, starting from scratch, and to see it was possible to make a living doing something you are passionate about.

In 2002, my hard work and love of design was affirmed when I won the Platinum Guild International Spectrum award for best design. I have since won several other awards for which I am extremely honored, but the true payoff of my work is seeing my clients’ faces when their vision and idea has become a finished and personal design; nothing beats that.

Two years ago, at the request of the National Hereford Women, I was asked to design a line of jewelry that displayed their love of cattle — what a remarkable partnership! I am so blessed to continue to work with them, giving back half the profits to invest in scholarships for kids who will someday lead the way in the cattle industry.

My designs and pieces are not just a business; they are an extension of who I am as a person, of my heart, my passion for creativity, and my love of people. Every client is a friend, every piece is someone’s story, and I thank God every day I get to be part of it.
